1st Line Support Engineer

Edinburgh City Centre

Net Talent are working with a company based in Edinburgh who are looking to hire a 1st line support engineer. This is due to an increase in customer demand and success for the business which is allowing them to grow organically. Ideally we are looking to speak with candidates who have a 2 year’s experience in IT support and have an appetite for problem solving and helping people.

Key responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact answering calls and assisting customers with technical issues.
  • Manage, investigate and resolve tickets as required both remotely and on site.
  • Setting up new customer hardware inc laptops, mobiles and tablets

Requirements

  • Ideally 2 year’s experience handling 1st line support for Microsoft products.
  • Relevant IT qualifications such as a degree, HND, CompTIA or similar
  • Excellent communication and listening skills 
  • Self-starter with can do attitude.
  • Full UK driving license or in the processes of obtaining one.
