ScotlandIS celebrates the outstanding achievements of Scotland’s digital technology sector, recognizing the hard work and dedication of those within the industry.

The event announced a few days ago the shortlist for their 13th annual Digital Technology Awards. The awards cover a range of categories from digital health and life sciences to artificial intelligence, skills and talent. The winners will be announced at a virtual event on the 8th of April.

The theme of the awards this year is The Magic of Tech”, with several surprises to look forward to on the night.

Karen Meechan, ScotlandIS CEO, commented: “I am continually astounded by the quality of the entries we receive and some of the fantastic success stories we hear from across our industry. This year’s shortlisted companies highlight Scotland as a true leader of innovation and talent, helping to drive the growth of the sector, and I am delighted to celebrate their achievements.”

This year, the Digital Tech Awards saw an unprecedented number of nominations for the Unsung Hero category. It was an incredible show of support for those who give their time, resources, and energy to help their communities but often go unnoticed. These selfless individuals are the unsung heroes of our society and the Digital Tech Awards have done a fantastic job of recognizing their efforts.
